It’s not clear as to when the term “Conspiracy Theorist” was first ever used. This, I think everyone can agree. I hope also, that every one can agree, the label “Conspiracy Theorist” was used in the widespread media by way of credit to the CIA.
Although the term had been around for many years, it was the work of the CIA that influenced the media to adopt the phase to the groups who questioned the official report of accounts associated with certain events.
OK, so we are all happy now that the CIA calls the non believers “Conspiracy Theorists”. In the eyes of the Government these people are idiots. They appear confused as to why we, yes we, including me, question the Government. We should accept their findings and follow their advice.

Psychologists study people. Behaviour patterns, backgrounds, emotional decisions, ethnic orientation. It is an expert field where experts are usually in the best place to judge the actions of an individual. This can include why a person may believe in a conspiracy theory. Sometimes it’s only particular conspiracies, not all the conspiracies out there.
A psychologist can probably explain in great detail why a certain individual will believe a certain conspiracy theory. What psychologists don’t do, is study the conspiracy! Yes I understand that they may have to research to some degree the alleged conspiracy, in order to evaluate the individual and determine why they believe such a conspiracy. But they never really research and investigate the event as they are more focused on the person.
Let’s sort one thing out first. The term “Conspiracy Theory” is misleading. It suggests there is a group of people who are intent on making up stories or bending the evidence to cause a bit of controversy. Introducing a little Anarchy to disrupt the establishment.
The Truth of it is, people are just asking questions! That’s all, people asking questions.
If an event like 9/11 for example, happened exactly as the Government reported it, why are there so many discrepancies?? Why are there questions, that given the answers make no logical sense?
One or two Grey areas and you could argue it was a freak attack that had never happened before in that way. That then is bound to create a couple of unusual and difficult to answer scenarios.
But there are tons of unusual and difficult to answer scenarios regarding 9-11. So much of it is illogical. We are not talking about questioning an area, there are doubts about most of what happened that day.
I have a Fact about the Apollo 11 Moon Landings that can not be explained. This is not a “Theory”, this is fact. People like me only ask questions. We ask questions when the official answers don’t initially make logical sense.
We then research what we are unsure about and look for fact based answers. If those answers we find completely corroborate the official findings, Great. Accepted. No further questions your honour. But in my experience, they never ever do!
As i said, if the answer is a little grey, and the best I can do after research is also find an answer that is a little grey. Even if both answers alter slightly. I am willing to accept there is no conclusive evidence to support a conspiracy.
If on the other hand, my findings are very Black or White and it contradicts the official statement, after research, then I am a Conspiracy Finder!!! not………a Conspiracy Theorist!!!
Understanding that just because someone questions authority, it doesn’t mean they are crazy, just awake!!!!!!!!!
